FMC Carswell in Fort Worth is the only federal medical facility for incarcerated women in the country. This investigation revealed Carswell has the highest number and highest rate of sexual assaults by staff. I talked to multiple women who were victims of this abuse at Carswell, created a database to analyze sexual assault stats and spoke with prison whistleblowers to draw attention to this injustice.

Four women pressed charges against their doctor after they say he groped them during unnecessary breast exams. They were let down again and again by systems that should have protected them.
